ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Kessler’s on their Facebook page announced Thursday that the grocery stores in Aberdeen & Miller will no longer be family owned by the end of April.
Owner, Reed Kessler write that the business will be taken over by Coborn’s Inc. based on St Cloud, MN.
Kessler wrote “This has been one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but at its core, the decision is simple: what’s best for our team and customers?”
Kessler’s was founded by his great grandparents, George and Elizabeth, 86 years ago.
Kessler’s will remain the business name under this agreement.
