MADISON, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – Although yesterday was April Fool’s Day, there were many college basketball players finding their way into the transfer portal from across the country. Locally, Groton native & Dakota State University Trojan, Lane Tietz put his name into the portal; Tietz was named the NSAA freshman of the year this past year with DSU. He averaged 11.3 points per game, he was also 2nd in the North Star in terms of free throw percentage at 87.8%. Tietz was also fourth in the conference in total assists.
