ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release) – Northern State University and the NSU Foundation are excited to host the upcoming 2025 GiveNDay, an annual fundraising event dedicated to supporting Wolves students and strengthening community ties. The event will kick off at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, and conclude at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3.
GiveNDay celebrates Northern State University’s rich history of excellence and showcases the unwavering spirit of its community. The event provides an opportunity for alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends of NSU to unite and positively impact the lives of Wolves students.
“Supporting GiveNDay is a great way to show your ‘Pride in the Pack’ at NSU,” said Zach Flakus, NSU Foundation. “Every gift makes an impact in the lives of our students and helps them appreciate the relationship NSU has with the community, alumni and friends. Northern is a special place and your support, regardless of size, makes a difference. Thank you for considering GiveNDay, 2025.”
The goal is to engage 1,500 donors within the 24-hour giving period during GiveNDay. Contributions support over 40 initiatives, including scholarships, academic programs, athletics, and special campus initiatives, all of which help shape the future of Northern State University.
To celebrate the event, Northern State University invites both campus and community members to join us for a “Maroon Out” on April 2 and 3. Show your support for Wolves students by wearing maroon and/or Wolves gear on GiveNDay.
