ABERDEEN, SD (NSUWolves.com) – The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women’s Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were released earlier today. The program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Northern State University graduate student Michaela Jewett was honored on the list, marking the second straight CSC All-District® nod for the sharp shooter.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.Jewett will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 16, 2025.
Jewett started all 30 games for the Wolves, averaging 13.0 points and a team leading 8.7 rebounds per contest. She shot 45.7% from the floor and 75.0% from the free throw line with a team leading 41 made 3-pointers in 2024-25. Jewett accumulated 390 points, and 261 rebounds this season, closing out her career with 1,300 points, 724 rebounds, 179 assists, and 178 made 3-point field goals. She earned NSIC Player of the Week honors to close out January and went on to be the D2CIDA National Player of the Week for her performance over I Hate Winter weekend. Jewett is a 3-time NSIC All-Conference second team honoree and 2-time CSC Academic All-District® award winner.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
