The funeral service for Dianna Rauscher, 77, of Aberdeen, SD, will be 11:00 am Friday, March 21, 2025, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, with Pastor Drew Becker officiating. Burial at Ipswich City Cemetery, Ipswich, SD. Dianna entered the loving arms of Jesus, Sunday, March 16, 2025, at home, surrounded by her sons, their spouses, and her grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10:00 am, one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Dianna Beverly Schuck was born April 8, 1947, to Clements and Elizabeth (Horner) Schuck in Bismarck, ND. She attended school in LaMoure, ND, for a while, but her artificial leg made it hard for her to go between the schools. She finished her education in Fargo, ND, where she won a ping-pong championship. Dianna stayed in Fargo working until the early 70’s when she moved to Aberdeen. There she worked at Control Data. Dianna married Norman Rauscher on September 23, 1972, in Aberdeen. They made their home on a farm near Wetonka, SD. They were blessed with two sons, Steve and Mark. Norman passed in 2005. Dianna moved back to Aberdeen in 2017.
Dianna enjoyed gardening and canning, as well as baking and was known for her exceptionally good food, especially her fried chicken. She had several TV shows she liked watching including Monk, Murder She Wrote, Matlock, Little House on the Prairie, and Perry Mason. She also enjoyed the Hallmark movies and watching John Hagee and Joyce Meyer on TV. She was a huge Star Wars fan.
Grateful for having shared Dianna’s life are her children: Steve (Michelle) Rauscher, and Mark (Kayla) Rauscher; grandchildren: Anna Rauscher, Christian Rauscher, and Ethan Chesmore; siblings: Elsie Schuck, Larry (Gayle) Schuck, Art Schuck, Mary (Rich) Zelner, Jeanette Kraning, Jerry Schuck, and Clem (Carol) Schuck.
Preceding Dianna in death are her parents, Clem and Elizabeth Schuck; husband: Norman Rauscher; siblings: Arlene Ernst, Angie Huber, Betty Huber, and Tom Schuck.
