ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- The Aberdeen Public Schools Foundation is excited to announce this year’s Knight for a Princess event to be held March 29, 2025, at Aberdeen Central High School.
This special event is for girls ages 4-12 to experience a fantastic evening including appetizers, cupcakes, magic, princess activities, a photo moment, swing dance lessons, and an evening of memorable dancing! Knights may be dads, uncles, grandpas, or other very special male adults. Attire for the evening may be as fancy as Knights and Princesses want it to be.
Tickets for the event are $40 per couple or $60 per triple (knight escorting two princesses). Tickets are available online at www.AberdeenPublicSchoolsFoundation.org. Tickets may also be purchased at the Aberdeen Public Schools Foundation office in the School District Service Center.
Doors open at 4:00 pm. Swing dance lessons are offered from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Regal photos, interactive princess activities, crafts, and strolling magicians are available from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Knight appetizers are served from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, and the Royal Ball begins at 5:00 pm. Guests also get to meet the 2025 Snow Queens, Miss Aberdeens, and regional Miss America titleholders.
Funds raised will go toward Aberdeen Public Schools Foundation grant programs for Aberdeen School District K-12 students and staff.
