Burnsville, MN (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released the 2024-25 Women’s Basketball All-Conference teams earlier today with three Northern State Wolves honored. Rianna Fillipi and Madelyn Bragg grabbed first team accolades, while Michaela Jewett was named to the second team.
Fillipi started all 28 regular season games for the Wolves in her final season, averaging 13.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. The Lennox native holds the career school records in assists and steals, and broke into the top-10 in career scoring. She is the only player in Northern State women’s basketball history to record over 1,000 points, 600 rebounds, and 500 assists in a career. Fillipi ranks sixth in scoring, 15th in rebounding and first is assists for NSU career leaders. She heads into the postseason with 380 points, 135 rebounds, 151 assists, and 45 steals this season, shooting 44.9% from the floor. The grad student was twice named the NSIC Player of the Week in 2024-25 and ranks 11th in scoring, tenth in field goal percentage, first in assists, first in assist/turnover ratio, 13th in steals, and third in minutes played in the league this season. The guard ranks seventh in assist/turnover ratio and ninth in total assists in the nation. She is now a 4-time All-NSIC performer earning freshman team accolades in 2021, second team honors in 2022, and first team honors in 2024 and 2025.
Bragg started all 28 regular season games this season, averaging 17.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. She leads the team with 480 points scored and 36 blocks, shooting 47.6% from the floor. The center tallied six double-doubles this season and shot 50.0% or better from the field in 13 contests. She scored the 1,000th point of her Northern State career in early February, ranking top-30 in career scoring at NSU. In addition, she sits sixth in scoring, ninth in rebounding, sixth in field goal percentage, ninth in free throw percentage, and sixth in blocks in the league this season. This marks her second straight season on the NSIC All-Conference first team.
Jewett started all 28 regular season games in her first and only season with the Wolves, averaging 13.0 points and a team leading 8.9 rebounds. She is shooting 45.3% from the floor and 75.0% from the free throw line with a team leading 37 made 3-pointers in 2024-25. Jewett has accumulated 364 points, and 250 rebounds this season. She ranks 15th in scoring second in rebounding, eighth in field goal percentage, and ninth in minutes played this season in the league. The forward scored the 1,000th point of her career against St. Cloud State in December. She earned NSIC Player of the Week honors to close out January and went on to be the D2CIDA National Player of the Week for her performance over I Hate Winter weekend. Jewett is now a 3-time NSIC All-Conference second team honoree.
Northern opens the NSIC Tournament on Sunday at 11 a.m. against Sioux Falls inside the Sanford Pentagon.
