ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- This week is National Public School Week. At Monday’s Aberdeen City Council meeting, superintendent of Aberdeen Schools, Dr. Becky Guffin took time to thank the council for their dedication toward public schools starting with Mayor Travis Schaunaman.
Guffin thanked the planning and zoning commission for their contributions.
Guffin thanked Transportation Department for the RideLine program.
Guffin thanked Parks & Rec for helping to organize some of the activities.
Guffin thanked other departments for their help through out the year.
Guffin finally thanked the Aberdeen Police Department for helping to keep the students safe.
National Public Schools Week goes through Friday.
