PHOENIX, AZ (HubCityRadio.com) – With temperatures below zero all week to this point, we need to think ‘warm thoughts’ right?
Enter Aberdeen’s Olivia Braun; earlier this week at the “54 Hole Phoenix Junior Open” Braun finished as the runner up, finishing just three strokes off of first place.
On the first two days of the three day tournament, Braun had a slew of bogeys, but on the final day, she was locked in. On the front nine, she netted a pair of birdies (on the par five, second hole & par five 9th hole). She would also finish the back nine with four more birdies & just only one bogey.
She was the only player that finished under par for the day, at (-5). Nicole Iniakov from Prunedale, CA was the medalist for the three-day event at (-1) total.
