Bruce Willprecht, 70

Forman, ND: The funeral visitation for Bruce D. Willprecht will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Olson Funeral Chapel in Britton. A time for sharing will be at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will take place in the spring at the Forman Cemetery in Forman.

Bruce Darrel Willprecht was born October 16, 1954 in Britton, SD to Darrel and Helen (Volkers) Willprecht. He attended his schooling in Forman and grew up on the farm, helping his dad from a young age.

Over the years Bruce worked as a truck driver and worked for local area farmers around North Dakota. For many years he owned and operated a dozer company out of Oakes, ND. Also during that time he built a rollback tow truck for Westside Body Shop in Oakes.

Bruce was a hard worker but always made time to play hard. He was a jack of all trades and there weren’t many things he couldn’t fix or find a solution to. He was proud to be known as the “Junkman” and was always up for a road trip or an adventure on the search. Not only did he work well with metal, but he also would help others with carpentry.

Most important to Bruce were his grandchildren, they were his whole world. He always made friends wherever he went and will be deeply missed by many.

Bruce passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at Four Season Healthcare Center in Forman, at the age of 70.

He is survived by his children, Tonya, Tessa, Darrel (Jennifer), Darnel, Tosha, Trina and Daniel (Erika); his grandchildren: Nena, Roger, Nichole, Dacey, Amelia, Sebastian, Julianne, Payton, Addison, Calvin, Chance, Shaylyn, Ashlyn, Colton, Landon and Nolan; his great-grandchildren: Kaylynn, Ariel, Joseph, Rylie, Xander, Peyton and Evelyn; his siblings: Crystal Gladback, Shirley Walker, Rosalie Anderson, Marilee Nelson, Michael Willprecht, Bonnie Day, Heidi Willprecht and Kevin Willprecht.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Darrel and Helen; and two sisters, Gloryie Gregor and Donna Schoolcraft.
