PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The South Dakota House Thursday address HB1201. The bill establish requirements for school employees regarding gender ideology.
Prime sponsor of the bill was Representative Logan Manhart of Aberdeen who told the floor what the bill does.
Speaking against the bill on the floor was Distriict 27 Representative Peri Pourier who expressed concerns about the issue of mandatory reporting.
The bill was defeated on a 40-28 vote.
