South Dakota Senate defeat SB133

PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)-  The South Dakota Senate Monday discuss whether to calendar SB133.  Reminder the bill would repeal enforcement provisions and modify requirements related to the fluoridation of public water supplies.  The bill had discussion on at the Senate Health & Human Services Committee with a no recommendation from them

Senator Carl Perry of Aberdeen was the prime sponsor and offered the plea to put it on the calendar.

Senator Tim Reed of Brookings was on that Senate committee and reported what came out of that committee.

The South Dakota Senate voted 22-12 to not calendar the bill effectively killing the bill.
