Watertown City Council approve liquor license for Infinity Fun

WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- Parents are always on the lookout for activities they can enjoy with their children, especially during the long South Dakota winters. Infinity Fun’ would become a new indoor entertainment center, set to transform the former Studio 212 (Shopko) building at 714 9th Ave SE into a hub of family fun.

The City Council approved an application for a new retail (on-off sale) malt beverage and SD farm wine license for Infinity Fun LLC, marking another step forward for the project.

At Monday night’s meeting, local entrepreneur Jared Paulsen provided an update on his plans for the center.

Paulsen shared his excitement.

Councilman Kyle Peters inquired  about the business opening, and Paulson responded they’re “trying for March.”

Councilman Dan Schutte inquired about serving alcohol, and Paulson responded.

Councilman Lynn Jurrens expressed the positive of keeping families in Watertown.

As the project progresses, the community can look forward to updates from Infinity Fun.

With a roll call vote, the council voted unanimously to approve.
