Burnsville, MN (NSUWolves.com) – Following a 2-0 weekend for the Northern State University women’s basketball program, Wolves guard Rianna Fillipi was named the NSIC Player of the Week. This marks her first league player of the week award this season.

– Directed the Wolves’ offense in their 2-0 weekend sweep against UMD and No. 16 CSP
– Averaged 16.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game throughout the weekend
– Contributed eight assists and eight steals in the back-to-back wins
– Connected on 15-of-25 from the field, posting an impressive 60.0% shooting efficiency
– Led the team with 18 points in the 66-60 win over No. 16 Concordia-St. Paul
