SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- Sioux Falls Police are expected to release more information later this morning on the city’s 16th homicide case of the year.
A 38-year old Sioux Falls resident was shot and killed near Eastway Bowl at about 9 yesterday morning.
Sergeant Travis Olsen says the victim died on the scene.
Sergeant Olsen says there’s no danger to the public, as the other person involved in the shooting has been in contact with authorities.
This is the highest number of homicide cases the city has ever seen in one year.
