The city council approved an eight-million dollar purchase agreement to buy the land, which is the site of a proposed Convention Center.
City Councilor Rich Merkouris says the Riverline Steering Committee will begin fleshing out plans for the property as early as next month.
But, they’re keeping their options open on what that development should be.
