HURON, S.D.(KOKK)- The need is large each year for citizens who need a little help during the holidays. Proof in the past is shown with the Huron Salvation Army Christmas Basket and Angel Tree programs. This year the Angel Tree has received an increase in applications. Salvation Army advisory board member Cara Osier(oh’ heur) said it is your opportunity to help.
Cara said another business has cards available for the Angel Tree.
If you would like to help but time to shop for the items is a factor donations designated to the Angel Tree can be dropped off at Rainbow Flower Shop and the Salvation Army. The Christmas Basket is in its 76th year. Two more nights of local groups presenting holiday music. Online at www.christmasbasket.us
