ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday night, the Aberdeen City Council addressed an ordinance dealing with the city fees for 2025.
Aberdeen Finance Manager Jordan McQuillen discuss the process.
McQuillen address some of the fees beside water and utilities that citizens will have to be aware of.
Mayor Travis Schaunaman talks about the rate increase for water and sewer use by the residents in Aberdeen.
McQuillen acknowledge two things that may change those fees. he talks about software updates that could affect this.
McQuillen also talks about awaiting bids on the water tower & the upgrades to the water treatment plant.
The city council approved the first reading on this on a 9-0 vote. Second reading is scheduled for Monday, December 16th.
