St. Paul, MN (NSUWolves.com)– The Northern State University swimming and diving team finished day one of the CSP Invite in sixth place, earning a total of 110 points and securing five top-ten finishes in the finals session.
WOLVES HIGHLIGHTS
- Northern State kicked off the finals with a ninth-place finish in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:52.60; relay members included Eydie Bruestle, Jocelyn Dirksen, Emma Moore, and Haley Osborne
- Abbegael Nynas followed up with a seventh-place finish in the 1650 free, hitting the wall at 18:23.10
- In the 50 free, Osborne finished in seventh place with a time of 24.67
- With a time of 2:15.75, Brianna Back took eighth place in the 200 IM, followed by Maire Loest in 13th with a time of 2:20.40
- A team of Osborne, Back, Nynas, and Moore closed out the day for the Wolves in the 800 free relay, hitting the wall at 8:01.56
- NSU closed out the day in sixth place with a total of 110 points
