The funeral service for Bryan L. Haar, 60, of Roscoe, SD, will be Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 10:30am at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, with Pastor Tony Hansen officiating. The family invites you to a light lunch following the service. The burial will be at 3pm Morningside Cemetery, Roscoe. Bryan passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Avera St. Lukes Hospital in Aberdeen with heart complications.
The visitation will be one hour prior to services at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street.
Bryan Haar was born May 12th, 1964 in Groton, SD. He grew up on his family farm in Roscoe. He graduated from Roscoe High School in 1982 where he excelled in football. After high school he attended Mitchell Tech.
He had one daughter, Kaija. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and caring for the best little dog, Junior. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours caring for animals and passed his love of animals on to his daughter and grandchildren. Throughout his life, Bryan worked on the family farm and loved harvest time. For those that knew him well, they knew he had a big heart.
He is survived by his daughter, Kaija (Chris) Hofer of Eureka and his four grandchildren, Ava, Tavin, Adaya and Beckett. He is also survived by his parents, Duane and JoAnn Haar of Roscoe, SD; sister Colleen Haar of Roscoe, SD; and sister Kim (Brian) Wieczorek of Pierre, SD, and their children, Chad Wieczorek, Kenna Wieczorek, Drayton Thomas, Mikayla Thomas and Reid Wieczorek.
Preceding Bryan in death were his grandparents and nephew, Wayde Wieczorek.
