INDIANAPOLIS, IN (NorthernSun.org) – The NSIC will send three teams to the NCAA Super Region Four playoff as the pairings were released by the NCAA Sunday afternoon.
Augustana (8-3) earned the fourth seed and will host Minnesota State (8-3) in the opening round in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Bemidji State (8-3) will travel to third seeded Angelo State (9-2) on the other side of the seven-team bracket.
It’s the fourth time in school history that Bemidji State has reached the NCAA Division II playoffs while this marks the 15th time in program history that Minnesota State has advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Augustana enters the NCAA Playoffs for the eighth time in school history.
