Caruso Named NSIC Special Teams POW

Burnsville, MN (NSUWolves.com) – For the second week in a row a member of the Northern State University football team was named an NSIC Player of the Week. Jeremy Caruso grabbed the special teams honor for week 7 following his game winning play against Minnesota Duluth.

NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week – #36 Jeremy Caruso (K, 5-11, 180, So., Wesley Chapel, Fla. / Wiregrass Ranch HS)
– Tallied the game winning field goal as time expired in a 24-21 win at UMD
– The 38-yarder was his fourth made of the season and second longest
– Went 3-for-3 in PATs and added 225 kickoff yards, averaging 56.3 per boot
– The win over UMD was the first since 2015 and first in Duluth since 1999 for NSU
