Viola Rau, 91, Eureka, SD, died Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the Avera Dougherty Hospice House, Sioux Falls, SD.
Viola is survived by one son, Craig (Connie) Rau of Java, SD; three daughters—Sheila (Dan) Rahja of Frederick, SD, Dixie (Dan) Kennedy of Wheatland, WY, and Joleen Rau of Madison, WI; one sister, Alice Buechler, of Mandan, ND; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law—Janice Theis and Gerry Aman of Sioux Falls and Marilyn Schaefbauer of Eureka.
Viola’s funeral will be livestreamed at the Lien Family Funeral Care Facebook page.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Saving Grace Community Church, Eureka, led by Pastor Randall Cloud. Interment follows at the Eureka Cemetery.
Visitation commences 5:30 PM Monday at Lien-Straub-Carlsen Chapel, Eureka, with a prayer service scheduled for 6:30 PM.
