SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- A major development dealing with the proposed regional carbon capture pipeline.
The Iowa Utilities Board announced the approval of Summit Carbon Solutions’ project in Iowa.
That follows approval by North Dakota’s Public Service Commission.
Lee Blank, Summit’s CEO, says that sets the stage for work in South Dakota.
Summit’s plan is to move carbon dioxide through pipelines from Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota into North Dakota.
