ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- At Tuesday’s Brown County Commission meeting, the commissioner heard from Janet Hedges of H&H Farms.  She discussed a letter sent to the commission expressing their opposition to Troy Woehl’s plat.

Hedges emphasize that they are not against development in this region and talked about what they tried to do back in 2018.

Hedges’s plans was defeated by the Brown County Commission and she felt a precedent was set.

Hedges believes Woehl’s plat would greatly increase traffic in the region.

Hedges feels this will violate the noise ordinance and will impact wildlife.

Hedges feels if allowed the county will not be able to maintain the township road.

Hedges feels this violate her property rights and compared it to the pipeline request by Summit Carbon Solutions.
