ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen City Council passed a resolution Monday night naming the Aberdeen Insider as the official newspaper of the council starting in July.
City Attorney Ron Wager discuss why a resolution was needed.
Aberdeen Insider is a weekly instead of a daily paper. Wager discuss how this will impact the council.
Among those with praise for the paper is Councilwoman Erin Fouberg.
The resolution will go into effect on July 18th. The council will finish their time with the AberdeenNews on July 31st.
