Gaikowski also comment on the upcoming amendment to Medicaid expansion that deals with work requirement. Medicaid expansion was approved by South Dakota voters in 2022.
One of the reasons the South Dakota AARP was in favor of Medicaid expansion was the impact on rural communities. Gaikowski explains.
